Hispanic Heritage Month

Colorful artwork celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month fills the Terrace Gallery.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 Commissioner Tony Ortiz invite residents to join them in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, 2025.

The 2025 Hispanic Heritage Month national theme is “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.” This theme highlights the importance of celebrating the deep cultural traditions that shape Hispanic identity while embracing the promise and creativity of future generations.

Each year, our nation and city observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of U.S. residents who trace their roots to Spain, Mexico, and the Spanish-speaking nations of Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
