The City of Orlando and its contractor will undertake the replacement of aging drainage structures and piping to enhance the area's stormwater management. In addition to improving drainage, the project will include the installation of ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps. Construction will take place at the intersection of Minnesota and Formosa Avenues.

The current drainage system has deteriorated, leading to depressions in the roadway. Replacing the drainage infrastructure is essential to maintain roadway functionality in accordance with city and Florida Department of Transportation standards. Upgraded drainage utilities will enhance rainwater collection and efficiency while also improving the visual appeal of the area within the project limits.

We anticipate construction will be completed by the spring of 2025.
