Princeton Street Complete Streets

Building on the city’s commitment to improve neighborhood infrastructure, the City of Orlando leveraged the private development of the Packing District to invest in roadway improvements and infrastructure to support recreational enhancements as well as the adjacent mixed-use development.

The redesign of Princeton Street (S.R. 438) from John Young Parkway (S.R. 423) to Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441) incorporates 'Complete Streets' improvements that have resulted in a more walkable community street and provides safer access for all modes of travel.

The improvements on Princeton Street include:

  • a four-lane divided roadway with a raised median
  • on-street parking
  • six-foot-wide sidewalks
  • 10-foot-wide separated bicycle lanes
