Get a Certificate of Use

Step 1.Check your eligibility

All businesses will be required to obtain a Certificate of Use in conjunction with a Business Tax Receipt. Certificates of Use will not be required for:

• Individual professionals within a professional office
• Residential uses
• Government uses
• Temporary uses
• Mobile businesses
• Congregate living facilities such as group homes and residential care facilities

Step 3.We'll review your request

Our staff will send an email confirmation to you when we receive your application. Within 10 days, we will send you a billing summary once we have processed your application. It will include instructions on how to pay your fees.
