Submit Your Documents for Permit Closeout

Do you need to close out your permits at the end of your project?

It is important to close your permits as soon as construction is completed in order to avoid problems when selling or developing your property in the future.

Keep in mind:

  • All closeout items must be submitted as hard copies.
  • You will also need to submit two copies of all required digital media using CD/USB data storage.

By Mail

Step 1.Prepare your submittal package

For reference, please refer to Chapter 5 of the Engineering Standards Manual Section 5.03.

Step 2.Submit your documents

You will need to complete the delivery transmittal form.

Print the Delivery Transmittal Form

You will need to mail the form and two copies of all required applicable items to us at:

Step 3.We will contact you

We will email you within one business day after receiving your closeout items. The email will contain an associated permit number for your plan review. 

Disapproved reviews will need to be resubmitted following steps 2 & 3 above.

Step 4.Check your permit status

At any point, you can check your permit status using our Permit Lookup tool.
