The city requires all residents who want to rent out a portion of their property for short-term rentals to have a short-term property rental permit.
The City of Orlando has two main categories for Airbnb use: Home Share and Commercial Dwelling Unit.

Apply for Home Sharing Registration
City staff will review your request and get back with you in three to four business days.
You will be provided a permit ID and link via email to pay your $275 permit fee.
After you have paid for your permit, a code enforcement officer will email you to schedule an interior inspection.
If approved, you will receive an email with your permit.
Permits are valid for one year. We will send you an invoice to pay your $100 renewal fee 30 days prior to your permit's expiration. An inspection is also required each year.
