Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Disaster Recovery Program

The City of Orlando has been awarded two federal grants by FloridaCommerce under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Mitigation (MIT) program:

  • CDBG-Mitigation Resilience Hubs Project (Federal Award ID B-18-DP-12-0002, DEO Agreement # MT038), $2,850,000
  • CDBG-Mitigation GPS Flood Mitigation Planning Grant (Federal Award ID B-18-DP-12-0002, DEO Agreement #MT012), $126,000

 

Funding for this program has been provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development through a $633M Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) to FloridaCommerce for disaster mitigation projects in areas impacted by the presidentially declared disasters in 2016 and 2017. If the complainant is not satisfied by the Subrecipient’s determination or FloridaCommerce’s response, then the complainant may file a written appeal by following the instructions issued in the letter of response. If the complainant has not been satisfied with the response at the conclusion of the complaint or appeals process, a formal complaint may then be addressed directly to the regional Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at:
