Grab your gardening hat, sunglasses, and some comfy shoes and join us for a guided tour through the UF/IFAS Extension Orange County Exploration Gardens! Our 4-acre demonstration gardens showcase Florida-friendly Landscaping™ principles, highlighting the diversity of gardening and landscaping options available to residents in Central Florida.

Florida-friendly Landscaping™ is a collection of 9 principles and tips focused on landscape design, installation, and sustainable maintenance practices that are intended to reduce irrigation, protect water quality, and support wildlife. This tour will provide an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand about plant identification, selection, and maintenance for your very own residential landscape. From pollinator plants, to succulents, to fruit trees, vegetables, and herbs––there is plenty to see, smell, touch, and inspire!
