MLK Day of service 2024: 1 Million Meals Packing Event

The Orlando Mayor's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission is hosting its annual MLK day of Service to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. In collaboration with U.S. Hunger and the Orange County MLK Initiative, they plan to package 1 million healthy meals at the Orange County Convention Center. 

Meal packs are high-energy, family-friendly volunteer events that benefit the local community and engage thousands of volunteers. All meals made at the event will be distributed in Central Florida. There are multiple 2-hour shifts available throughout the day (9am-11am, 12pm-2pm, and 3pm-5pm).  Click here  to sign up and find out more information about this event.
