Downtown Recreation Center Parking Update

Starting Monday, September 10, Bentley Street will be closed to traffic along with the parking area directly in front of the Downtown Recreation Center.

Limited parking will be available directly adjacent to the center’s south and west side with a combined entrance and exit on Parramore Avenue. The city has created a new parking area for patrons of the Downtown Recreation Center at the northwest corner of Parramore Avenue and Bentley Street. These parking areas are shown below in blue.

Should these parking areas be full when you arrive, overflow parking is available a short walk away at the corner of Parramore Avenue and Amelia Street, shown in green. Follow the green path along Parramore Avenue to the Recreation Complex.

These parking changes are to allow for expanded construction of the UCF and Valencia Downtown Campus.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience the construction activity may cause. We will continue to provide you with updates on construction activity as well as the situation with our replacement Downtown Recreation Center, expected to open in summer of 2021.
