THURSDAY 12/6 – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to Deliver Annual State of Downtown Address
WHAT:
On Thursday, December 6, 2018 Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will deliver his 2018 State of the Downtown Address at the Amway Center.
Mayor Dyer will share the latest on the continued revitalization of Downtown Orlando, as well as plans and advancements for the community in education, housing and work to address community challenges together.
New this year, Mayor Dyer’s annual address will feature two young adults, Raysean Brown and Julian Harris, who grew up in Parramore and are now working together with the City to help shape the future of Parramore’s youth and the future of Downtown Orlando.

11:30 a.m. – Mayor Dyer’s State of Downtown Address

TO ATTEND:
A tradition since 1982, the State of Downtown is a fundraising event for Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP).

**MEDIA LOGISTICS**
Media Arrival:
Media should plan to arrive by 11:30 a.m. to set up. Please note, to access Amway Center for the address, media will be required to enter through the media entrance located at the southwest corner of the building on South Street near Division Avenue and go through security screening.
Media Interviews:
Mayor Dyer, Raysean Brown and Julian Harris, will be available for media interviews immediately following the address.
Media Parking:
Media parking will be located in the GEICO Garage on the west side of the first floor. Media must have credentials to access this parking area. The GEICO Garage is located at 400 West South Street.
Live Broadcasts:
For media to broadcast live, portable broadband/cellular backpacks are recommended equipment as cabling options will be limited.
