South Street Lane Closure Begins Monday, November 19, 2018

WHAT:

One westbound left lane of South Street will be closed from Liberty Avenue to Magnolia Avenue to accommodate construction of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

The closure will happen in two phases to accommodate holiday and downtown event traffic.  The first closure will begin on Monday, November 19 at 6 a.m. and remain in place until Wednesday, November 21 at 6 p.m.  The second closure will begin on Monday, November 26 at 6 a.m. and remain in place until Wednesday, November 28 at 6 p.m.

Message boards will go up in advance to notify regular travelers of the upcoming closures.

South Street westbound left lane closures:

  • First Phase Closure:
    • Beings – Monday, November 19 at 6 a.m.
    • Ends – Wednesday, November 21 at 6 p.m.
  • Second Phase Closure:
    • Begins – Monday, November 26 at 6 a.m.
    • Ends – Wednesday, November 28 at 6 p.m.

WHERE:
Closure is one westbound left lane of South Street between Liberty Avenue and Magnolia Avenue.
