Leaders to Announce Grant Funding Toward the new Blueprint 2.0 Program

WHAT:

Local Wells Fargo leaders will join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Commissioner Regina I. Hill and the Central Florida Urban League and CareerSource Central Florida to announce a $75,000 grant to further the City’s new Blueprint 2.0 program. 

Led by Commissioner Regina I. Hill, Blueprint 2.0 is a new iteration of the original BLUEPRINT Program launched in connection with the Community Venues construction.  This new initiative will connect residents to more than 100 job and vocational training opportunities in the Central Florida region. 

The new program is made possible through partnerships with the Central Florida Urban League and CareerSource Central Florida. The Wells Fargo Foundation grant will help the Central Florida Urban League offer this program at its new offices on West Church Street in Parramore and provide guidance to any resident interested in learning more about or enrolling in job training programs.
