WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to celebrate the July 4th holiday at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando for the 42nd annual Fireworks at the Fountain event.
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to find a viewing spot and enjoy family-friendly activities before the fireworks, including live music, games and access to the playground. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from more than 20 food vendors throughout the event, and the evening will conclude with a patriotic firework display, accompanied by a performance from the Orlando Concert Band.
The entertainment schedule for the day is as follows:

- 5 p.m. – ESPN 580 Hotdog Eating Contest
- 6 p.m. – Kaleb Lee
- 7:30 p.m. – Orlando Concert Band
- 9 p.m. – Fireworks Countdown
- **9:15 p.m. – Fireworks Finale**

TRANSPORTATION:
Several streets around Lake Eola Park will be affected for Fireworks at the Fountain. View the Street Closure Map here.
- Robinson Street from Rosalind Avenue to Summerlin Avenue (closed 7 a.m. – midnight)
- Eola Drive from Robinson Street to Washington Street (closed 7 a.m. – midnight)
- Central Boulevard from Rosalind Avenue to Eola Drive (closed 2 p.m. – midnight)
- Rosalind Avenue from South Street to Robinson Street (closed 2 p.m. – midnight)
Visitors are encouraged to use alternative methods of transportation to attend the event, including walking, cycling, ride share services, and carpooling. Downtown residents and those parking at garage other than the Administration Garage or Library Garage are encouraged to use the free LYMMO circulator.
GUEST PARKING:
Downtown parking locations and street closure details are located on the City of Orlando website at orlando.gov/fireworks.
MEDIA PARKING:
Media parking will be available in reserved metered spots on Rosalind Avenue, south of Robinson Street. On July 4, 2019 at 2 p.m., Robinson Street and Rosalind Avenue will both closed to traffic. To access the closure, drive east on Robinson Street to the Rosalind Avenue intersection and OPD will grant access to official media credentialed vehicles. SWANS AT LAKE EOLA:
Residents and visitors will not be the only ones enjoying the fireworks. Lake Eola is home to more than 50 swans of five different breeds. Park visitors are asked to refrain from feeding swans anything other than leafy greens or by purchasing swan feed from any of the feeders around the park. The swans’ digestive system is not designed to metabolize the refined flour, preservatives or sugar found in food items like bread or popcorn.
In addition to the funds collected from the feeders in the park, swan lovers can donate through Swan-A-Thon to make a financial gift that will support the health and well-being of the swans at Lake Eola.

- Discover Downtown information center – 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of Swan-A-Thon branded T-shirts and plush toys at Discover Downtown will go towards the fundraising program.
