Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Joins Volunteers to Stuff Backpacks for Students in Need

WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will join volunteers with a Gift for Teaching, Fifth Third Bank and other sponsors to stuff 500 backpacks for at risk youth in the Orlando After-School All-Stars Summer of Dreams program to equip them with school supplies as they return to the classroom for the new school year.

Summer of Dreams is a free ten-week program that provides homeless students with meals, academic enrichment, mentoring and school supplies, as well as financial counseling for parents and students.
