The City of Orlando Partners with Orange County Government, AdventHealth, Orlando Health and GENETWORx to Open Free Appointment Only Mobile COVID-19 Drive-Thru &  Pedestrian-Accessible Testing Sites

Orlando, FL – May 11, 2020 – To better serve Orlando residents, the City of Orlando is partnering with Orange County Government, AdventHealth, Orlando Health and GENETWORx to open several free, drive-thru and pedestrian-accessible COVID-19 testing sites in Orlando neighborhoods throughout the city.

Locations for the mobile testing sites were selected to ensure broad coverage of the City and based on data from Orlando’s data tracker (Orlando.gov/datatracker) to target locations where a higher number of positive cases has been reported. Located within city neighborhoods, sites will also provide enhanced access for pedestrians and users of other forms of mobility, like biking and public transportation.

Beginning on Thursday, May 14, 2020, the City of Orlando will begin operation of these free, mobile COVID-19 testing sites. To ensure minimal contact, residents are encouraged to drive-thru with an appointment. Residents without access to a vehicle are also able to be accommodated.

This mobile testing will operate two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rotating to a new location in the city on each operating day.
