The City of Orlando Safely Expands Access at Neighborhood Centers and Athletic Fields 

WHAT: 
On Monday, November 30, 2020, City of Orlando Neighborhood Centers will expand access to fitness facilities, select senior programs, gymnasiums, after school programs, community rooms, athletic fields and basketball courts for residents as the city works to safely provide amenities and activities for the community. 

In order for this reopening the City is implementing the following health and safety protocols: 

  • Limited capacity 

  • Masks will be required 

  • Temperature checks will take place upon entry 

  • Sanitization stations will be placed throughout rooms 

  • Social distancing and continuous cleaning 

  • Required COVID safety plans for those renting rooms & ball fields

The following facilities are part of this limited reopening with access to selected amenities: 

  • Beardall Senior Center  

  • College Park Neighborhood Center  

  • Dover Shores Neighborhood Center 

  • Engelwood Neighborhood Center 

  • L. Claudia Allen Senior Center 

  • Downtown Recreation Complex 

  • Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center  

  • John H. Jackson Neighborhood Center 

  • Northwest Neighborhood Center 

  • Rosemont Neighborhood Center 

  • Wadeview Neighborhood Center
