Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Invites Residents to Celebrate July 4th at Lake Eola Park for 44th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain Event
WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to celebrate the July 4th holiday at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando for the 44th annual Fireworks at the Fountain event.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to find a great viewing spot and enjoy family-friendly activities, including live music, a kids play zone, and the park’s playground. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from more than a dozen food vendors throughout the event, and the evening will conclude with a patriotic firework display, which will begin at 9:10 p.m., accompanied by a performance from the Orlando Concert Band.
For those who prefer to watch from home, the festivities will be live on News 6 WKMG starting at 8 p.m., or streamed online at clickorlando.com.
The entertainment schedule for the day is as follows:

9 p.m. – Fireworks Countdown Pre-Show with News 6

9:15 p.m. – Fireworks Finale
To keep attendees and staff safe, the following COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place:

Unvaccinated attendees and staff are encouraged to wear a face covering at the event.

Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the event space.

Safety reminders will be broadcast throughout the park’s sound system reminding attendees about actions they can take to protect themselves and others.

The free LYMMO circulator is recommended for downtown residents and attendees parking at garages other than the Orange County Library Garage (located at 112 East Central Boulevard). Additional transportation information including LYMMO stops and street closure details are also located at orlando.gov/fireworks.
Handicapped parking will be available on Rosalind Avenue between Jackson Street and Central Boulevard for the event. Please approach the road closure and show the police officer your handicapped designation for parking.
MEDIA PARKING:
Media parking will be available in metered spots on Rosalind Avenue, south of Robinson Street. On July 4, 2021 at 2 p.m., Rosalind Avenue will close to traffic. To best access the closure, drive east on Robinson Street to the Rosalind Avenue intersection, and OPD will grant access. Contact Emily Bonvini Bailey for on-site assistance at 321.217.4252.
