Wreaths Across America Day 2021

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan Join Community to Honor Fallen Veterans During Wreaths Across America Day 

WHAT: 
On Saturday, December 18th, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan will join the community at Greenwood Cemetery, to honor veterans during the holiday season as part of the national Wreaths Across America Day.  

Immediately following the opening ceremony recognizing veterans from all branches of the military, Mayor Dyer, Commissioner Sheehan and volunteers will place donated wreaths on veteran graves.    

Greenwood Cemetery will be one of more than 2,700 locations nationally participating in Wreaths Across America Day, which began in 1992 at Arlington National Cemetery. 

WHEN: 
Saturday, December 18, 2021 
12 p.m. - ceremony begins promptly 

Laying of the wreaths will follow ceremony.
