Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz Host 16th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

WHAT:

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz invite the community to join them at the 16th annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at Camping World Stadium to recognize the contributions made by the diverse and rich Hispanic and Latin cultures both locally and across the nation. This community-wide event will feature Latin food, dancing, music and entertainment.

This year, Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15, and the national theme is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation," working to ensure that all voices are represented and welcomed to help build stronger communities and a stronger nation.

As a diverse, equitable and inclusive community, the City celebrates the culture and traditions of U.S. residents who trace their roots to Spain, Mexico and the Spanish-speaking nations of Central America, South America and the Caribbean all year long. The City of Orlando is proud to dedicate this month to Hispanic and Latino heritage and recognize the achievements of Hispanic champions who have inspired others with their advocacy.
