Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan Unveil Bring Kindness to the Table Project and Kick off 49 Days of Acts of Love and Kindness

WHAT:
On Saturday, April 23, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan will join One Orlando Alliance and Downtown Arts District to unveil the Bring Kindness to the Table project and kick off 49 Days of Acts of Love and Kindness.

Bring Kindness to the Table is a collaborative art and placemaking project meant to bring eye-catching pieces of locally painted art to spread messages of love, hope and kindness. The art will be featured on 24 picnic tables, with four tables located in each of the city’s districts, located at city parks and community centers. During this event, one of the tables will be unveiled at its permanent location in Carl T. Langford Park.

In addition to the unveiling, 49 Days of Acts of Love and Kindness will kick off through a community clean up in partnership with Keep Orlando Beautiful. Each of the 49 days represents an individual lost in the Pulse nightclub shooting, where One Orlando Alliance will dedicate each day leading up to June 12 by encouraging the community to participate in an act of love and kindness in remembrance of each life lost.
