Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Celebrates the Reinvention and Resilience of Downtown with Annual Address

In a Mayoral First, Dyer Will Conduct the Address Both In-person at Luminary Green Park and Virtually in the Metaverse

WHAT:
On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will hold his 2022 State of Downtown Address at Luminary Green Park at Creative Village in the heart of Downtown Orlando.

A Mayoral address first, to highlight the innovation in Downtown and its role in shaping Orlando into the MetaCenter, Mayor Dyer will deliver his State of Downtown Address in front of a crowd of hundreds, as well as in the immersive virtual world that is the metaverse. This new format also emphasizes the technological advancements and investments the city, together with the community, has made to transform Downtown into the vibrant, neighborhood it is today.

As in years past, as part of the event, Mayor Dyer will also highlight the resilience of the local business community and how they continue to work with the city to make downtown a thriving economic hub.
