City of Orlando Hosts Job Fair on March 25 to Hire Public Works Positions 

WHAT: 
The City of Orlando is hosting a Skilled Trades hiring event on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando. At the indoor event, qualified applicants will have the opportunity to be interviewed, and receive a conditional job offer.   

There are several positions available for all experience levels, with posting rates of pay ranging from $15 per hour to $26 per hour, depending on the position. Needed positions include:  

• Automotive Technician   

• Electrician   

• Equipment Operator - Heavy 

• Equipment Operator - Light 

• Heavy Equipment Technician   

• Lift Station Operator    

• Mechanic - Industrial   

• Sanitation Equipment Operator - Automated 

• Sanitation Equipment Operator - Commercial  

• Utility Service Worker   

• Wastewater Technician
