Find Yourself Downtown as it Comes Alive with Extraordinary Experiences March 4

City of Orlando Prepares to Welcome Thousands of Guests on

Saturday, March 4 and Elevates the DTO 2.0 Experience

WHAT: This weekend, Saturday, March 4, the downtown core will come alive with several events and unique experiences, drawing thousands to immerse themselves into all that downtown Orlando has to offer. A key part of the city’s efforts in enhancing downtown through the Project DTO 2.0 Action Plan is adding to the exceptional downtown offerings, so for this weekend in conjunction with the large marque events taking place downtown, Orlando will showcase some additional performances to add to the vibrancy, including free, street performances and family-friendly activities from 4 - 8 p.m. as guests head out to events:

  • City Hall Plaza – enjoy music and interactive stilt walkers.
  • Discover Downtown – experience family-geared street magic performances and visit glitter temporary tattoo painters (Discover Downtown is extending its hours from 2-8 p.m.).
  • Church Street near SunRail – watch a street juggler and stilt walker show off their talents.

Thanks to a partnership with SunRail, the rail service will also run this Saturday and offer free rides beginning at 2:30 p.m. with the final departures at 10:21 p.m. southbound and 11:53 p.m. northbound.

With all this weekend activity, planning ahead is critical to ensure visits to downtown are enjoyable and as hassle free as possible.
