Stadium Preparing for Two Bowl Games

WHAT: 
On Wednesday, December 27, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will work-along with Camping World Stadium staff to help prepare for the Pop-Tarts Bowl. Kansas State and NC State will meet in the game Thursday. At the event, Mayor Dyer will assist with installing signage for game day.  

The Pop-Tarts Bowl is expected to draw 40,000 fans and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN, showcasing Central Florida and positioning Orlando as one of the nation’s premier sports event destinations. This match-up is expected to have a local economic impact in excess of $20 million by way of hotel room nights, car rentals, dining and other downtown amenities.

MEDIA INFORMATION: 
Media parking is available in Lot E on the southwest corner of the stadium, accessible via Tampa Avenue. 

Media should show credentials and enter the stadium by the loading docks.
