Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill Host “First Look” to Highlight New Affordable Housing Development in Parramore Neighborhood

Parramore Oaks Phase II adds nearly a hundred units to help ensure residents have access to quality, safe affordable housing

WHAT:
On Thursday, October 26, 2023, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill will join InVictus Development to preview the expansion of Parramore Oaks, a mixed-income housing community at the corner of Parramore Avenue and Conley Street across from Z.L. Riley Park. During the construction preview event, media members will have the ability to tour the progress of the Phase II apartments and get a "first look" into a new, two-story unit. Phase II is expected to open to residents in early 2024.

Each of the 91 affordable housing units in Phase II will feature new sustainable energy star appliances, open floor plans and outdoor space with balconies and porches. Additionally, both Phase I and Phase II will have access to amenities including a fitness center, a computer lab with office space and a children’s playroom. Furthermore, the building is expected to achieve a Bronze level National Green Building Standard Certification.

This project further supports the city’s efforts to ensure residents have access to quality, safe and affordable housing and aligns with recommendations developed with the community in the Parramore Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan.
