Orlando, FL – Friday, August 23, 2024 – The City of Orlando is pleased to announce two key promotions within the Press Office of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. Effective immediately, both Ashley Papagni, Ph.D. and Andrea Otero have been promoted to City of Orlando Public Information Managers.
Ashley Papagni, formerly the Public Information Officer for the city and the Public Information Manager at the Orlando Fire Department, and Andrea Otero, previously the Public Information Manager for the Orlando Police Department, will now handle communications related to the Mayor’s Office, as well as day-to-day media inquiries and interview requests regarding city initiatives.
In their new capacities, both Ashley and Andrea will be instrumental in managing media relations and ensuring effective, responsive and accurate communication with the public and press.
