City of Orlando Invites Community to Pulse Remembrance Ceremony

WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will join City Commissioners, families of the victims, survivors, first responders and the community for the annual Pulse Remembrance Ceremony. The Remembrance Ceremony allows the community to come together every year on the evening of June 12th to honor and remember the 49 angels taken, their families, the survivors, first responders, trauma teams and all those impacted by the Pulse tragedy. Admission is free but a ticket is required to attend the event.

The Remembrance Ceremony will be preceded by the ringing of the 49 bells at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Orlando.

Out of respect for the victims’ families and survivors, we ask that any interviews be conducted outside of any venue space, to include the church and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
