WHAT:
On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, District 5 City Commissioner Shan Rose will join local community organizations to help distribute meals ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday for families in need. The community event is made possible through the generous support of Orlando City Soccer Club, Orlando Pride, Publix, Levy, Lee Wesley Group and Black Ink Orlando who have partnered with Commissioner Rose to help ensure that more families in District 5 have a chance to celebrate Thanksgiving with a traditional holiday meal. Turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
“We are excited to offer this turkey giveaway as a way to give back to our community,” said District 5 City Commissioner Shan Rose. “Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and family, and we want to make sure that all of our neighbors have the opportunity to enjoy a holiday meal with loved ones.”
