Showcase features Hispanic trailblazers who have left an indelible mark and made outstanding contributions to the Hispanic community
WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz will join our multicultural community for the opening of the Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibition at Orlando City Hall. During the event, 19 local visual artists will display art pieces inspired by this year’s national theme, “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together.”
The exhibit honors Hispanic trailblazers who have made outstanding contributions to the well-being, prosperity and visibility of the Hispanic community around the world.
The arts are an intrinsic part of Hispanic heritage, which is why the city annually hosts an art exhibit in conjunction with this important month to further illustrate the richness of Latin American history and culture. In addition, this exhibition furthers the city’s multicultural efforts to ensure Orlando is a diverse, inclusive and welcoming community.
The display will run through Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Apertura de la Exhibición de Arte del Mes de la Herencia Hispana en la Alcaldía de Orlando
La exhibición de arte rinde tributo a los pioneros hispanos que han dejado una huella indeleble y han aportado al bienestar de nuestra comunidad hispana.
QUÉ:
El alcalde de Orlando, Buddy Dyer, y el comisionado del Distrito 2 de la ciudad, Tony Ortiz, se unirán a la comunidad multicultural para celebrar la apertura de la Exhibición de Arte del Mes de la Herencia Hispana en la alcaldía de Orlando. Durante el evento, diecinueve artistas visuales locales exhibirán piezas de arte inspiradas en el tema nacional de este año, “Pioneros del Cambio: Juntos Forjando el Futuro”.
La exposición rinde homenaje a los pioneros hispanos que han realizado contribuciones destacadas al bienestar, la prosperidad y la visibilidad de la comunidad hispana en todo el mundo.
Las artes son una parte intrínseca de la herencia hispana, por tal motivo el municipio de Orlando organiza anualmente una exhibición de arte durante este importante mes para mostrar aún más la riqueza de la historia y la cultura latinoamericana. Además, esta exposición promueve los esfuerzos multiculturales del municipio para asegurar que Orlando sea una comunidad diversa, inclusiva y acogedora.
La exhibición se extenderá hasta el domingo 3 de noviembre de 2024.
