Do you want to submit an entry for the 2025 Historic Preservation Calendar?

The photos in each Historic Preservation Board Calendar are selected from submissions from community residents as part of a photo competition.

The 2025 Historic Preservation Board Calendar will focus on Orlando’s College Park Neighborhood.

Submissions must be postmarked by July 8, 2024 at 5 p.m.

Step 1.View this year's theme

To be eligible for the calendar, subject matter should be from structures that are at least 50 years old (generally, pre-1970).

Step 2.Submit your photos

Participants can submit up to three photographs. Label on the back with your name, daytime telephone number, email address and the address of the subject site. Send photographs to:

If printed, photographs must be black and white and printed on 8” x 10” or 8 ½” X 11” photo paper with a white border. Vertical or horizontal photographs are acceptable.

Photographs may be digitally submitted but must be black and white. Email digital submissions to Jennifer.Fritz-Hunter@orlando.gov. The email should contain your name, daytime phone number and address for each subject site.

Submitted photographs become the property of the City of Orlando Historic Preservation Board for use in the annual calendar competition and associated promotions. 

Step 3.We will review submissions

Winning photos will be selected by members of the Historic Preservation Board through blind judging.

A $100 honorarium will be awarded to each photographer whose picture is selected for the 2025 Historic Preservation Board Calendar, sponsored by McCoy Federal Credit Union. Winners will be notified by email.
