Neighborhood Watch of the Year 2022 Announced
[ORLANDO, Fl.] Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will join District 3 City Commissioner Robert F. Stuart, Orlando Police Chief Eric D. Smith and Neighborhood Watch leaders of the Carmel Oaks Condominium Association to recognize the 2022 Neighborhood Watch of the Year with an official sign unveiling.
The Carmel Oaks Neighborhood Watch group has been actively promoting crime prevention and Neighborhood Watch for more than 15 years. Carmel Oaks is a long-standing participant in National Night Out and the residents look forward to the yearly gathering. Even after the pandemic, they were one of the first neighborhoods to bring National Night Out back to their community.
This Neighborhood Watch Group maintains close ties with City Staff, its OPD District 3 Liaison Officer, and its Neighborhood Watch Specialist. Their success as a Neighborhood Watch Group can easily be attributed to the partnership that they have worked to build between OPD and their community. You are invited to the sign unveiling of Neighborhood Watch of the Year 2022: Carmel Oaks Neighborhood Watch.

By working together, we can keep our community safe.
