The City of Orlando is a world-class event city, and each year hosts or permits more than 1,200 special events such as festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, film productions and more.

The Office of Special Events (OSE) serves as the central point of contact for all permitted special events in the city. Working in conjunction with city departments, venues and organizations, the office assists with event permitting, public safety, site mapping, road closures, parking and other operational details to ensure event producers have a safe and successful event.

Our Guide to Special Events is designed to provide helpful information about permitting, planning and producing your event. Our event team is your resource on all aspects of event production. We encourage event planners to reach out early in their planning journey for advice and assistance.
