Ha'ani Hogan

Dr. Ha'ani J. Hogan is an Orlando-based artist, arts administrator, and technology scholar with a passion for community engagement. A CHamoru artist from Guam, she creates large-scale paper flower installations and wearable art, celebrating cultural narratives and environmental themes. Notable works include towering floral installations at Orlando City Hall, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, CityArts, and The Mall at Millenia.

Beyond creating art, Dr. Hogan has significantly contributed to Orlando’s arts scene as an administrator. She spent nine years as Development and Marketing Manager at the Downtown Arts District and now serves as External Affairs Director for Creative City Project, helping produce immersive art experiences like IMMERSE.

She holds a Ph.D. in Texts and Technology from the University of Central Florida, where she explored the intersection of social media and public art. Her research and artistic practice emphasize accessibility and community involvement, aligning with her mission to make art an interactive experience. Furthering her academic interests, Dr. Hogan also teaches MFA students studying at UCF’s School of Performing Arts.

Through her creative and professional roles, she continues to shape Orlando’s cultural landscape, inspiring audiences to engage with art in meaningful ways.
