Step 1.Check your eligibility

Welcome Letters may be issued for:

• Conferences
• Annual meetings
• Conventions
• Family reunions

Recognition Letters may be issued for:

• Resident birthdays (75 years and up)
• Resident anniversaries (50 years and up)
• Resident retirements
• Resident, business or community organization awards or accomplishments

Proclamations may be issued for:

• Events that raise public awareness about important issues or causes impacting Orlando residents
• Cultural celebrations
• Business openings and anniversaries (10 years and up)
• Community organization anniversaries (10 years and up)

Step 2.Complete our online form

You must make your request at least 15 business days before you need the document.

Step 3.We will review your request

We may edit your request to meet our standards before approving it.

If we do not approve your request, we will contact you to explain the reason why your request was not approved.

Step 4.Receive your recognition document

If your request for recognition is approved, we will send you a digital copy of your document by email.

In addition to the digital copy, you can also request a physical copy of your document. We can mail you a physical copy, or you can pick up the document in person at the Mayor's Office in City Hall.
