Pay Municipal Public Service Tax

Are you a registered utility company that needs to pay municipal public service tax?

Once your company is registered, the city requires certain utility companies to pay a municipal public service tax.

Step 1.Check your eligibility

Your company must provide service to residents within the City of Orlando limits. You must register if your service provides one of the following:

  • Electricity
  • Fuel oil
  • L.P. gas
  • Natural gas
  • Water

Step 2.Register your business as a service provider

If you haven't already, call the City of Orlando at 407.246.3088 to register your business as a service provider.

Step 3.Fill out the municipal service provider tax form

Step 4.Mail the form and payment

Mail the printed copy of your online form to this address along with your payment.

Please note:

  • Returns are due on the 20th day following the period end.
  • Late returns may not take the collection allowance.

Step 5.We will record your payment

Once we receive your payment by mail, we will record your company as paid and contact you back if we have any questions.
