About Me

Raised in Orlando, Raquel Bartley began her writing journey at the tender age of 12 years old. Later in life upon relocating to Tampa, Florida she attended an open mic poetry event at Black On Black Rhyme where another poet inspired her from the crowd. Raquel quickly got back to writing and from that point went on to deliver gospel inspired spoken words from the stage and traveled with her work into Gospel festivals, women conferences, missions banquets, opening up for well-known gospel artists like Tye Tribbett and Donnie McClurkin. Raquel has also produced a self-entitled album entitled ”Miss Relentless the Album” and is currently working on her second album and becoming a published author. Raquel is a mother of a beautiful 12-year-old special needs daughter named Bella-Rose who is a child entrepreneur and poet herself. Raquel finds joy in serving her local community by mentoring women along with the next generation of young women to love themselves through a healthy mindset and relationship building skills.
