Ammir Thomas - University High School

Amir Thomas

Ammir has all the qualities it takes to do well and represent University High School. He does well academically, is involved in extra-curricular activities and has an engaging personality. Currently, Ammir has a 5.21 weighted grade point average and is enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.

In addition to doing exceedingly well academically, he is the Captain of the Basketball Team and the Historian in the Black Leaders of Tomorrow Club. Ammir also spends time volunteering in his community and says it allows him to gain a better understanding of the needs within his community and the world around him.

Future Plans: Ammir plans to attend the University of Florida, FAMU or UCF to pursue a degree in Finance.
