Hannah Harris - Dr. Phillips High School

Through her community service, character, and spirit, Hannah’s core values represent Dr. King’s message of peace, love, and respect. She believes that differences in values and beliefs between individuals should not divide us, but rather, these differences are what makes us special. Working with others and giving back to her local community has helped Hannah to see the world from varying perspectives.

She believes that experiencing the mindset and perspective of others is what helps us grow and learn to love others. Hannah’s favorite quote by Dr. King states “The time is always right to do what is right,” which reminds her that regardless of what the situation is, the time is always right to do the right thing. At her core, Hannah is a natural born leader whose spirit encompasses Dr. King’s ideals.

Future Plans: As a current nominee for the U.S. Air Force academy, Hannah seeks to continue helping others through serving her country.
