Jordyn Jerry - Jones High School

Jordyn is a junior at “The Great” Jones High School where she serves on the Student Government Association, BETA Club and also serves as Co-Captain of the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team. Off campus, Jordyn is an active member of New Covenant Baptist Church, Delta GEMS, LANES and GAMEPOINT AAU Volleyball Club.

Jordyn's busy schedule does not deter her educational prowess as she continues to exemplify academic excellence in preserving a 4.0 G.P.A. Academics is not her only strongpoint, as she advocates for members of her community by organizing a peaceful protest in the City of Orlando with peers from her school and community in protest of recent national social injustice, spoke at the Black Lives Matter mural painting, and served as a panelist on Community Conversations with Commissioner Bakari Burns and Mayor Jerry Demings.

Jordyn embodies all the qualities of a natural born leader, all the while always keeping in mind the necessity of continuing the cause of helping others.

Future Plans: Jordyn plans to attend North Carolina A&T for college and will pursue a career as a lobbyist.
