Donovan Francois - Windermere High School

Donovan exemplifies intelligence, service, leadership in his life at school and his community.  He believes he can best follow Dr. King’s legacy by helping those less fortunate than himself. He volunteers to give back to the community as a way to say thanks and pay forward that which he has received from people who have helped him grow. He has helped raise over $600 for the Children’s Miracle Network and tutored young people.  He has served at the the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Orlando Rescue Mission.  Donovan golfs and enjoys biking on neighborhood trails.  Donovan is an active member of the Kappa League, an organization which helps young men develop leadership skills.  He has received regional recognition as 2nd and 3rd place winners of the Leon Steward Award.

Future Plans:  Donovan aspires to attend Howard University and study to become a Neurosurgeon.
