Johnny is a leader dedicated to being a light to the cause of social justice in his community. He has made his voice heard by leading a peaceful walk in his community to seek information and talk to its leaders. He believes giving back is being a blessing to others so all people can live productive lives. Johnny is an organizer and has served by leading drives for toys, bicycles, and clothing and helping to provide meals to members of the community. He has mentored middle school students. Dreamers and Doers, Principal Award, and Most Volunteer Hours Award are among the awards he has received in school and the community.

Future Plans: Johnny has accepted the full scholarship opportunity from Tennessee State University and the National Basketball Retired Players Association.
