Kiara Arocho - Colonial High School

Future Farmers of America club is a passion for Kiara. In the Animal Science Magnet program, she has earned both certifications offered to students.

Her diverse community service record includes agriculture literacy events to increase awareness of younger students as well as participating in food drives through her church. She believes a community cannot thrive without everyone standing up for each other.

Academically, she ranks in the top 10% of her class. She is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and the school band. Kiara’s favorite MLK quote: "A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right. A man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice. A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true."

Future Goals: Kiara wants to study at University of Florida to become a veterinarian.
