Taylor Graham - West Orange High School

Hard work and dedication describe the resilient personality of Taylor. Academically, she stops at nothing to accomplish her goals and attends dual classes at Valencia College alongside her advanced classes in high school. She is a published journalist for Valencia College’s Peace and Justice Institution, where she interviewed Florida Representative Anna Eskamani and actor Zack Barrack.

Her volunteer service is important to her because of the positive impact it has on the lives of others. Since eighth grade she has accumulated over 100 community service hours at Second Harvest Food Bank. Additionally, she has served in projects to help alleviate poverty and hunger.

Her favorite MLK quote is: “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”

Future Goals: Taylor aspires to study journalism at Columbia University.
