Desira Fountain- Acceleration West High School

Desira Fountain models the true essence of Dr. King’s philosophy in her everyday way of life. She treats everyone fairly regardless of race, sex, political views, or financial status, she volunteers at church and she helps to feed the homeless. Desira truly believes that all people deserve to be treated equally and should have the same opportunities to pursue their dreams. As an honor roll student, Desira demonstrates that hard work pays off because she has been accepted in both Valencia Dual Enrollment and Orange Technical College Dual Enrollment.  Her academic accomplishments will only nourish and stimulate the respectful, peaceful, and considerate nature of Desira. Her kind heart and zeal for helping others are the Dr. King qualities that are most appreciated and admired by leaders and will be profoundly sought after in our competitive world of trailblazers.
