Gregory Flowers- Acceleration East High School
Gregory Flowers possesses an incredible level of maturity and willingness to help others, which is often rare for someone his age. This multi-year honor roll student demonstrates this by being extremely kind, honest, reliable, and ambitious at all times. His qualities are really reinforced as a Peer Counselor for the Pit Crew class because anytime he is asked to help in anyway by his teachers, he immediately steps up and goes above and beyond. Anytime we need to know something from a student’s perspective, our teachers and staff check in with Gregory. Gregory encompasses the essence of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. daily by giving his time and by displaying altruistic traits to all, especially those who are in need. Like Dr. King, Gregory strives to model how choosing to serve others can make a huge difference in someone’s life and can help to make the world a better place.
