Jonathan Pierre-Louis- Ocoee High School

Jonathan [Jon] Pierre-Louis is the school’s Senior Class President whose commanding skills shine as leader of the marching band drum line, historian in the band, and social media manager, newly elected member of Beta club, National Honor Society, Chess club, and Color Me Club.  He was a “selected” student of the 9-star Honor Band, won the SGA award for Most Community Service Hours, got a Superior rating at the district competition and a Superior with Distinction rating at the state Solo and Ensemble competitions. Best of all, Jonathan was awarded a scholarship to return to college band camp free of charge. Jonathan qualifies as an outstanding humanitarian because he excels in his service to the community and gives back by spending much time in his church as musician, music teacher, and audio visual technician. He participates in food drives, collecting and donating clothes, and cleaning a barber shop to help out. Jonathan truly enjoys teaching music to the younger members of his church and community, but he gets really excited and expands his creativity when he is able to engage the community youth and himself in special photographical and videography moments.
