Mauvy Ramirez Ledesma- Colonial High School

Mauvy Ramirez Ledesma is an award winning member of the Colonial Debate team and an active member in both the National Honor Society and National Hispanic Honor Society. Her leadership qualities are proven through her positions of Junior Class Secretary, Colonial Cambridge Association Treasurer, Debate Team Secretary, and National Honor Society Treasurer. Mauvy sees serving her community as a gift and has logged close to 150 hours of community service through her work in Student Government. The biggest payoff for Mauvy is that she has found service to be a conduit in forming and developing deeper peer connections. Mauvy is described and was selected as the MLK Humanitarian because of her servant heart and positive spirit. She has set a goal of being a voice for the voiceless and works towards promoting the values of equality, justice, peace, respect, and inclusion in her everyday life.
