Raymond Rosa- Jones High School
Raymond Rosa honors the legacy of Dr. King through his acts of leadership and service. He has contributed many hours to volunteer for a math non-for profit organization: The Orlando Math Circle. Raymond also engages with younger students and teaches how to solve problems in games. You will often see Raymond actively involved at church either volunteering as a greeter or sometimes holding up signs, at school PTA meetings, volunteering at the food bank, or serving at a peer tutor at Jones High. Raymond’s service has roughly accumulated 150+ community service hours for him, mostly due to integral part he plays as a member of the Jones High School Marching/Symphonic Band(s), Project Success: 100 Black Men of Greater Orlando, The Orlando Math Circle, and Elevation Scholars. Raymond’s desire to change the world and reach the hearts of as many people as possible so that they could be more open minded and listen to new ideas, is just a mere reflection of his intense desire to fulfill the King dream.
