Zariah Patterson- Dr. Phillips High School

Zariah Patterson is a super star captain of her school cheer team, very active in her church, and is a strong leader in service organizations throughout the community.  Her current enrollment in dual courses as well as in other rigorous college level courses come as a result of her maintaining a very strong 4.0 GPA.  Zariah is committed to serving others by her consistent robust involvement in the school’s Peer/Partners Learning class where she assists students with learning, language, and/or physical challenges.  Zariah models the ideals of Dr. M.L. King, Jr. through her very kind and courteous personality while fighting peacefully for the rights and equality of those experiencing any form of injustice.  Zariah skillfully uses the tools of kindness and love to accomplish her goals of leading by example and successfully creating environments of harmony, goodwill, and tranquility.
